Merry Christmas

I didn't come up with anything else than two pics of my precious Christmas tree - lights off, lights on.
My Christmas tree has got some horse figures hanging, and Christmas lights made of plastic horses!
I'll be heading to my parents' place this afternoon. I just can't wait to eat all the Christmas food, do you?

Mammals

When I was a kid I loved reading. It didn't matter what it was I read it.
As early as I can remember there were for at least two groups of books that I loved the most:
horror and animals!

I loved everything Stephen King (even under his pseudonym Richard Bachman) wrote (except for The Dark Tower series). I got a brand new King every Christmas (- and a Guinness Book of Records)... But I also had a softer side to me: animals, and especially wild animals. I read everything about elephants, hyenas, gorillas...

When I saw this video I couldn't help but cry. Big tears, elephant tears. I think I'm an elephant myself. Never try and fool me - I'll remember it for as long as I shall live.  (Elephant brains are the size of over 5 kg (11 lb).

Just like my idol, Stephen King, I'm a huge fan of ac/dc. And I'm on the highway to hell. Thank you for asking!

It's that time of the week, again.

Now it's time to give some love to my dear cat, Aune. I had her for almost 15 years by my side. She was my true friend. There was no night when she didn't cuddle with me. She helped me with my homework. She always had her eyes on me. She never left home.

When I was staying in Uppsala, Sweden, in 2002, I got a phone call very early in the morning. I had been partying the whole night and was still a bit drunk when I heard my phone ringing. It was my mom. She was crying. Aune had passed away in the morning. Peacefully. 

I knew my friend was leaving for Finland in the evening. I called her and asked if I could join her. I could. The very next day we held a small funeral for Aune with my mom and dad. Everytime I pass her tombstone I cannot help but cry. She was my first love. I miss you so much, Aune!

Greetings from Me

It wasn't me, it wasn't me.
I just want some of those doggie cookies that mama made me, I know they are on the kitchen table, I know. Those cookies are a Christmas gift for my dog friend, Väinö. I like to play with Väinö, a lot. Usually we just run and chase after each other.
