My Living Room
Let me introduce you to - my living room!
As you can probably see there's some serious renovation going on. I'm restoring my windows (and my wooden floor later on).
I hate the mess.

My B-day
It's my b-day tomorrow. I couldn't wait 'til tomorrow...
Almost all my friends already know this but let me tell it one more time:
When I was born it was just a terrible, terrible day: summer storm! And I cried and cried and cried - all alone in that room where they take babies once they are born. And I was there all alone since only I was born on that particular day in that particular city.
Well, I've got a baby sister. She was m y baby, m y doll. She was my everything (and still is). When she was born it was sunny, a Mother's Day. I guess she was just smiling at my mom and the nurses... At that time my dad was somewhere in the woods doing something what men do in the woods (don't ask me, I was only 4 years old). I was, on the other hand, at my grandma's place on that Mother's Day. And I wanted to tell my dad that I got a new doll. And I did that!
I ran away. But, luckily enough, my grandma found me a little later. I was stuck in a muddy field, poor me. When my grandma found me she grabbed my arm and started pulling. I lost my rubber boots in the mud, and she washed me in the ditch next to us.
You can leave your b-day wishes below, thanks!

My Banana
My banana has got a heart!
Yeah, I know it's nothing like the Shroud of Turin or those faces people see burnt on their toast. But, let's admit it, my banana has got a heart..erm..had. I ate it - and went bananas!
Don't blame me if you got Harry Belafonte singing about bananas in your mind over and over again.

Postal Service in the Early 1900s
I just had to share this!
"In the early 1900s kids were sometimes sent by parcel post since postal stamps were cheaper than train tickets." I don't know if that's the truth (really!), and to what kind of kids they are referring here, but, at least, this caught my full attention. Would it be awesome to be sent by parcel post even today?!

Fresh Cherries (for Breakfast)
I've got a cherry tree at my parents' garden. It's been growing there for like twenty years already. But, no, no cherries yet. First (ten) winters were brutal: bad, bad, bad hares ate my cherry tree almost to death. Me and my mom did try to protect our precious but, some how, hares kicked our ass. But, now, that we've really put some serious extra effort in having fresh cherries straight from our garden, my cherry tree has finally grown into - a very large bush.
I don't know if we ever get fresh cherries other than those that we buy at stores but, hey, it's great having a cherry tree (bush) any way.
Pictured here my breakfast - fresh cherries. I hate those canned cherries that you still see on birthday cakes. They taste terrible, like rubber.

Have a Coke!
This bottle of Coca-Cola is calling my name - cheers!
Dare to listen to this wonderful song - it touches my heart each and every time. Calleth you, cometh I!

My Song for the Summer of '13
Let's face it!
This will be the summer of our lives - gotta be. I mean, do we have a choice? I think not.
For the past few years summers have been quite dreadful: it has been raining 24/7, tons of mosquitos, no money, no honey, nothing to do...
It has already been quite sunny and warm this spring, and I have spotted only one mosquito (that did bite me in my leg, of course)...erm... So, I definitely have my hopes up high!
Unfortunately my song for the summer of 2013 is sung in Finnish. But, never mind, just listen to the beat - and enjoy!
