ps itsellänihän on toki Canada Goose, jota en todellakaan hankkinut #kekäle.

I feel so sad for not having a proper camera back then... Back when my hair looked... um... well... 

Of course it was, like, totally different back then. We didn't have digital cameras or smartphones to take photos... I d_i_d have a camera, one that needed like a suitcase to be carried around. Yeah, those were the times. Back then. And I'm in the middle.

Hockey Time (#hoki #kiakko)

I went to a hockey game a couple of days back. It was almost as I remembered: freezing fingers, sitting on totally uncomfortable seats, and not having a cold beer between rounds. But this time it w_a_s a bit different: it was Ilves boys playing for the finals. There was so much speed and skill on the ice that I wouldn't have known the difference if it had been two league teams competing with each other.

First goal was seen something like 40 seconds after the game really started. 0-1.
The game ended 2-4, and HPK is now playing in the finals.
I'm not too skilled with posting a video here. I do hope you are able to watch it. And hear people talking about the game next to me. Thanks guys!

ps I got my cold beer after the game.

My so called business look. I mean now that I'm back in the business meeting customers and potential investors I should, for at least, try and look all sharp and ready to go. Well, that might not be the case, yet... I took this photo yesterday just to have some proof. I had just finished brushing my teeth, and my colleague sent me an sms "am already here waiting". F**k! He was six minutes early and... here's the result.

And I did take that scarf off. It looked stupid.

I saw the very first bare legs today. And it's still like winter here in Finland. Or is it?
Since the Sun was shining warmly enough in the morning I decided to go for my spring coat. It wasn't my brightest idea but some how I survived - here where polar bears walk on the streets and the sky isn't like anywhere else.

This is my spring look, kinda. And hell with it! I was tired as hell and just wanted to have a photo of my cool (the coolest!) coat. It's Maloja and I luv it!

I still remember that New Year's Eve in 2014. It was raining, and there was no snow. We had homemade candies and champagne. We eat, we drank. We stayed up late and watched Kon-Tiki.

Siitä ei tullut y h t ä ä n mitään. Rupsukka halusi töniä ja pökkiä turvallaan. Hän halusi myös maistaa ratsastuskypäräni laella sojottavaa nappia. Hän halusi hiplata tukkaani ja helliä turvallaan poskiani. 

Aikani ähkittyäni pyysin Leenaa avukseni. En tiedä, oliko sekään niin hyvä idea. (Ja näiden kuvien ottamiseen käytettiin #htc #one #m8.)

When was this photo taken?
I honestly can't say. But what I c a n say is that I bought that Mickey Mouse t-shirt in Bangkok in 2000. And I got my Canon ixus in 2001 (the camera I used back then). So, let's just say that this pic was taken for more than a decade ago. And we haven't changed a bit, have we?

ps my hair looks better now, though.

Jaksan yhä uudelleen ihmetellä heitä, jotka viskovat roskiaan pitkin katuja ja metsäpolkuja; vesistöjä ja vesiteitä; puistoja ja urheilukenttiä. Jokainen itseään ajattelevaksi ihmiseksi kutsuva tietää, että esimerkiksi muovi hajoaa huonosti luontoon. Wikipedian (23.11.2014) mukaan "Monet muoviroskat aiheuttavat luontoon joutuessaan vakavia ympäristöhaittoja. Esimerkiksi ihmisen huolimattomuuden vuoksi irrallaan ajelehtivat muoviset kalastusverkot ja muut roskat aiheuttavat runsaasti merieläinten kuolemia. Muoviroskat tukkivat myös viemäreitä ja aiheuttavat siten tulvia muun muassa Bangladeshissa." 


Juuri tällä viikolla uutisoitiin, että EU-maissa pyritään vähentämään muovipussien käyttöä siten, että EU:n määrittelemä yläraja muovipussien käytölle on 90 kassia per asukas vuonna 2019 ja 40 kassia henkeä kohti vuonna 2025. Tänä päivänä EU:n komission mukaan EU:ssa käytetään 198 muovikassia per henkilö. Suomessa vastaava luku on 55 muovikassia per asukas per vuosi. Annoin, jälleen kerran, palautetta. Tällä kertaa JCDecaux-nimiselle yritykselle, joka vastaa muun muassa Tampereen keskustassa olevista mainostauluista. Alla palautteeni kokonaisuudessaan:

Annoin palautetta joitakin kuukausia sitten minua ällistyttävästä seikasta: Hämeenkadulla Tampereella bussikatosmainoksia vaihtava vanhempi mieshenkilö roskaa surutta katuja! Palautteeseeni vastattiin tuolloin pikaisesti, pahoiteltiin tapahtunutta sekä kerrottiin, että teillä kierrätetään mm. muovi. Oltiin ilmeisesti ohjeistettu myös ko. vanhempaa mieshenkilöä. 

Ilmeisesti ko. vanhemman mieshenkilön selkä ei taitu, sillä todistin jälleen samaa: roskat pysäkin varteen! Pysäkkikatosten vieressä on roska-astia, mikäli muovijäte ei teidän kauttanne kulkeudu pois roskaamasta lisää katujamme. Sinällään pieni asia, saatatte ajatella. Minua veronmaksajana suoraan sanottuna vituttaa, että tietoisesti roskataan, järjestelmällisesti, eikä edes yritetä muuttaa tapoja.  

Sanotaanko näin, että seuraavan kerran, kun todistan teidän toimestanne tapahtuvaa roskaamista, otan yhteyttä Aamulehteen - vaikka sitten mielipidepalstalle, mikäli asia koetaan muuten vähäpätöiseksi. Voitte kertoa tälle vanhemmalle mieshenkilölle, etten valitettavasti osaa sanoa, milloin olen seuraavan kerran liikkeellä linja-autolla, ja kyttäämässä hänen työnsä jälkeä.

Oh boy!
It's summer, this summer. Or should I say "last summer"? Well, any way, I'm referring to t h a t summer that we had like less than fours months ago here. I'm sunbathing. And my sister's dog, mr. Ukko, is sitting o n me!

We had a nice walk earlier that day. It was so sunny and hot that I felt like sucking some Sun in. I even had a blanket put in the shadow, for mr. Ukko. But, as you can see in the pic, he's sitting on me. There we were: me trying to get some Sun, mr. Ukko wanting to sit on me.

I got this few days back.
It was shot at Hämeenkadun appro exactly two weeks ago.
As you can see in the pic we all had huge smiles on our faces. I don't know if it was just because drinks were for free, or we had an adequate excuse to attend this student party. Us adults, erm...
